H2O Geomatics originated as a research spin-off from the University of Waterloo—Canada's leading institution in remote sensing and ranked among the top twenty globally (2025)—driven by a mission to revolutionize how we observe and understand water using satellite technologies.

From our headquarters at the Accelerator Centre in the Waterloo tech corridor, we combine cutting-edge AI with physics-based models to deliver actionable insights for Arctic monitoring, cryosphere analysis, and water resource management. Today, we serve clients from the government, energy, and environmental sectors navigating an era of rapid climate change.
